FflOM a notice in our advertising columns wo observe that,the bank hours,ou.Saturdays have been shorteiied' by one hoiU1, and that the various houses will elosd at noon instend of one o'clock as heretofore. The employees ol the banks at least will gladly hail this curtailment of 'tlieii1 hours of work.
