j [FROM Oim OWJT oOEEESI'ONDENT ] SPECIMENS FROM THE OLD BEACH CLAIM. NONPAREIL SPECIMEN CRUSHING. OTftAIIAMSTOWN, 3 p.UI. The old 3eaeh claim took out 40 lbs. of specimens previous to amalgamation, which has given 27 ounces of gold. The Nonpareil are crushing specimens at Jhe Criterion battery. The Junction crushing turned out 10 dwts. to the ton. TheWaiotalntributers have obtained 50 ounces of gold from their last crushing. The Poverty and Charleston tributers are crushing. The natives have refused Dr. Pollen's tempting bait of £2000 for a title to the foreshore, at the meeting held yesterday.
