Mails will close as under :— For Thames, this day, at 4.50, and 5.30, and tomorrow, at 11 a.m., and 5.30 p.m. For Russell, and Kawakawa, per Comerang, tomorrow, at 3 p.m. For-Taranaki aadSouthernprovinces, per Wellington, on Saturday, 23rd instant, at noon. Late letters and telegrams will be received at this office tUI 0.30 p.m., and at Onehunga till 1.30 p.m. Iron Pillar Letter Receivers have been placed on the Queen-street wharf, and at the junction of Seafield and Carleton Roads, and are cleared at the hours indicated lon the pillars. _ I .J 7 ' ti S.
