Eybning Stab Office, . "Wednesday afternoon. Messrs. C. Arthur and Son held a sale of fruit" trees, Sec, ex Hero, at (heir mart, to-duy. There was a good attendance. The following pncea were reaasea : —Apples, 2il tn 2Jd per lb.; lemons, BJd to 9d per dozen ; oranges, 7s 9d to 8s 3d per case ; mandarins, 10s to 10s 3d per case; also 100 bags maize at 4s Id per bushel. Messrs. Samuel Cochrane and Son held an extensive sale of landed property at their rooms, Fort-street. The attendance was numerous, and prices as follows : —Those valuable freehold properties situated in the district of Tatuaki, in the county of Eden, in the province of Auckland, consisting of sections JSTos. 43, 54, and part of section No. 44. Allotments Hos. 57, 58, 59, 60, 81, 62, and 63, in the district of Tamaki, small farms ; and of lots Nos. 1, 2, and 3, section No. 3 of small lots near Panmure ; together with all miildings of whatsoever nature of kind erected thereon, sold (by order of the Regisrar of the Supreme Court) for the sum of £4800.
