New York, August 7.—The World publishes a Munioh letter of July 22nd, conaining an interview with Dollinger. He taid : " Tell the Americans I am a Catholic still, and hope to die a Catholic. Nothing would grieve, me more than to cause schism in tho Ohurch.'Z Of his reported change to Protestantism, he said.! " I have no ambition to play the partpf Luther j no Cathrine Bora is luring mo away. I 'can have no sympathy with Protestantism." He denies that there is any schism in the Church, and declares that tho dogma of Infallibility tqnds Eg; accord to the Pope .omnipotent: powor spiritually, and from the interpr tationj given, it meikes'his power virtually supreme] in worldly matters, . He says in his opposition, to infallibility he harmonises in action vvith no distinct body, and that while there is a largo body adhering to tho movement who have nothing Th coiuuicn with him, as (hoy seek the.overthrow of. the" Catholic religion, which he only seekgtp saye from error.'
