Mails will close as under :— For Thames, this day, at 4.30 and 5.30 p.m., and to-
morrow, at 4.50 and 5.30 p.m. For TaHranga, per Hero, this day, at 5 p.m. Mails for the undermentioned places, per a. s. Hero, will close at this office on Thursday, 14th instant, as under: — For India, China, Mauritius, Mediterranean ports,
and Continent of Europe, at 1 p.m. ' '„, ' For Australian Colonies, at 2 p.m. For United Kingdom, via Suez and Southampton (for letters specially so addressed), at 2 p.m. For United Kingdom via Brindisi at 2.30 p.m. For money orders, registered letters, and newspapers,
at 1 p.m. Late letters for Sydney, Melbourne, and United Kingdom, via Southampton, bearing respectively 3d and "Bd in addition to the postage, will ba received till 2.30 p.m. :;.*:. For Wanganui, per Wanganui, this day, at 5 p.m. ■ For Taranaki and Southern Provinces, per TaranaK, immediately alter arrival of p.s.
