A miner named Drinkwater was nearly killed this morning' by the falling of a tree at the Whau claim. He has been conveyed to the hospital.
The Bright Smile are about to break out stone, far crushing.
The Inverness fcriburers are working vigoronsly. The Q-olden Age have taken out specimens from the main workings. - -■
In the District Court, Eogan v. Eeeve, claim £100, for false imprison-! ment, arising out of an assault at a public meeting. Eeeve, a J.P., signed warrant, and nothing coming of the ease, Eogan now sues the Justice for damages.. -.- _-■ ■...-. : •: ._.•:..■ ,
