HIGHLANDERS FORM!
A. most successful meeting of the Scottish Volunteers was hold last night at Fort Brilomart, Captain Taylor in the choir. There wns a largo attendance, find sixteen new members wore enrolled. We arc glad to hear that Mr. E. W. Morrison was elected Ensign, as to his indefatigable efforts the credit of the establishment of this interesting company is mainly dup. Mr. Upham was electro. treasurer. Mr. McCallum (the Highland piper), was present, and moved the Scottish blood with his spirit-stirring strains. After considerable discussion, it was resolved to adopt the 42nd Tartan (the " Black Watch"), and Captain Taylor stated that he had secured, in the colony, sufficient to clothe fifty men in fatigue dress, and that steps had been taken to procure the full dre.ss of the company from Scotland. Friday evenings were fixed for instruction, and eacli alternate Friday for drill parade. We trust that for the honor of dear old Scotland the " kilts" will be made one of our most successful institutions.
