AM LGAMATION OF TOOKEY TRIBUTERS.
A meeting of the shareholders in the Tookey (Woods', Austin's, and McCabo's) tributes was held on Saturday evening, at the office of Mr. Saunders, Shortland-streot, Mr. D. Nolan in tho chair. The minutes of the previous meeting (held at Grahamstown) were read and confirmed, and the articles of association wore submitted to the meeting and adopted. It was then resolved that the three tributes bo amalgamated, and bb called " Wood's United Tookey Tribute Company, Limited," the capital of the company to be £6400, in 800 shares of £8 each, £7 LOs paid up. Tho following gentlemen were elected directors : — Messrs. A. Wardrop, W. Cruickshank, H. Brett, J. R. Carey, and McCabe. Mr. Woods was appointed working manager of the mine ; and a vote of thanks having been accorded to the chairman, tha meeting separated. Both Woods and Austin's tributes have been paying regular dividends, and by the amalgamation with McCabe's party, who hold a large piece of ground adjoining the Belfast, the ground has probably been rendered one of the best properties on the Thames goldfield.
