THE HARBOUR BOARD.
Yestebday afternoon the usual fortnightly meeting of the Harbour Board was held at the Board-room. There were present: Captain Daldy (in the chair), Messrs. Copland, Anderson, Dargaville, Tonks, Yon der Heyde, Nathan, ifoylan, and Macready. Among other subjects, the main sewer was under discussion, and the report of the committee on the subject was sent back for reconsideration. It was stated that £2599 9s. lOd. was to the credit of the Board, and a statement of the financial condition of the Board was laid on the table. Various matters of considerable interest relating to the wharves, the North Shore ferry, fisheries, &c, were transacted.
