BtDNiNO Stab Office, Tuesday afternoon.
Messrs. H. S. Meyers and Co. held a sale of choice fruits, iams (new season's), flour, &o;, cargo ex Jane, from Hobart Town, at their stores to-daj. There was an excellent attendance, and the following prices were Realised: —Apples, winter ripstones, 4d; pearmains, 4£d to sd; stone pippins, 3jd ; Norfolk biffens, 4Jd ; crabs, 2Jd ; pears, 4£d ; Wright's jams, 6s 8d j flour, £17 10s per ton ; hops, Is 3d per lb.; West Indian dates, ssd per lb. Messrs. B. Tonks and Co. held- a sale of tobacco, cigars, &c, at their mart to-day. The following are the prices:—Tobacco, Bernard's tens, in bond, lOJdperlb.; Commonwealth ditto, lljd ; Something Choice, 7d ; Aromatic Twist, Bjrd ; Nosegay; lOd ; Starlight, lljd j cigars, 38s; Kruaes's fluid magnesia, duty paid, 4s 6d to 15s 6d ; jujubes, Is 3d per lb*
