Dhunkenness.—One person'was punished in the customary manner for a Second offence.
Drunk- and JiisoßDEßirr.—Joseph Alesbrook was accused of behaving in a disorderly manner while under the influence of liquor. " Assaulting the Poiioe;— The same'prisoner was charged ■ with assaulting Constable Brennan while in the execution of his duty. The two offences haying been proved, he was sentenced to imprisonment for. fourteen days, with Hard labour.
Eobeeey.—James McCullagh was charged with stealing from the Governor -Browne Hotel the sum of £18, and a cheque for £9, the property of Denis Sweeney. On. the application of Inspector Broham, the case was remandct till next Tuesday.
Threatening Language.—Ellen Whitaker; an old offender, pleaded guilty of threatening to take the life of Mary McManus. Mr. Bennett for 'prosecubrix, requested that prisoner might be bound over to keep the peace, as his client was afraid to leave her house. Sho was accordingly ordered to find two sureties of £25 each, to be of good behaviour for six months. ; :,
