Messrs. L. D. Nathan and Co. held an extensive sale of American merchandise, ex East Lothian, from New York, at their stores, to-day. Thi-ie was an excellent attendance, and the following prices were realised : — Three-hooped pails, 14s 9d; tubs, in nests, 24s ; splint baskets, in nests, 3s 9d j clothes basket;), ditto, 20s; flour pails, ditto, 8a 3d ; churn?, assorted, 6s 6d to 8s 6d; pails, 8.8., in nests, 10s; clothes pins, 7s 3d per box j hurl brooms, 15s to 163 per dozen; fancy brooms, 15s 6d per dozen; whisk brushes, 103 per dozen ; axe-handles, No. 1, 14s to 14s 3d per dozen ; pickhandles, 6s. Tobacco: A. B. Mr. George Sibbin held a sale of produce, &c, at his mart, to-day. There was a good attendance, and fair prices realised.
