The Moanafcairi have had a splendid crushing, having already lodged 718 ounces retorted gold. There ia a considerable enquiry for shares.

The Caledonian brought up last night 15 cwt. specimens whilst driving towards the Otago. This company has banked to-day 3000 ozs., making tho total in band 10,319 ounces. There are still some heavy retorts on the fire. The crushing will not be completed before Monday. Tookey's tributers (Wood's party) have come across some very rich specimens.
