Evening Stab Office, Wednesday afternoon

Messrs. L. D. Nathan and Co. held an extensive sale of arm chairs, glasses, &c. There was a good attendance, and the bidding spirited. The following prices were realised : —Pedestal box looking glasses, 56s each ; ovul ditto, 51s each; bevel ditto, 44s each ; marble top ditto, 383 to 48s each ; gilt chimney glasses, from 35s to £7; toilet pillar ditto, 21s to 29s ; American cloth, 4s 4,1 per piece ; American wood stools, Is 7d to 3s 10il ench j plain seated ditto, 3s 3d; cane-backed rockers, 12s to 13s; children's fancy chairs, 3a 4d ; oak cane-stated dining chairs, 9s 9d each ; bass brooms, 7s per dozen.
