DARING ROBBERY AT THE KARAKA.

A dabino robbeiy from the dwelling of Mrs. Ryan, who resides on the Karaka, on block 27, was pfirpptratedon Saturday evening, alter dark. Mrs. Ryan and lor son reside together in a four-roomed house, 'ihe son was away at work at the time. Shortjly after dusk Mrs. Ryan left the house to go to the shop for .groceries, &c., locking the doors after her. She was away less than an hour, and on returning found that all the clothes, drawers, /&c, were ransacked and upset, and that four / £10 notes had been extracted.
