August 7. —Go-Ahead arrived in Bangil.ikei. river on Saturday afternoon !at ■• three-'qiiarfcer tide, under guidnnco of David Scott, now appointed pilot. She steamed without interruption to . tlie wharf.. Captain Djoilo ,is perfectly satisfied with the river. Tlio steamer will bo able to make regular isonthly trips in all weathers. She leaves this afternoon with a large cargo of tallow and flax. Tho settlers are highly delighted at tho success of tho first trip. The Go-Ahead is the only steamer and largest vessel ever in tho Rangitikei river.
