The Caledonian have lodged this morning 1,201 ozs. from general stuff, and have other retorts on. the fire. Some further specimens have been taken out, and they have now about 2-rj- tons in hand.
A meeting of the directors in the Nonpareil was held this morning, when Mr. Charles Fletcher was elected legal manager; Mr. Bothwell has been elected mine manager.
The G-as Company has been successfully floated. The apology for a company started by some legal manager at the Thames haviug succumbed.
A landslip has occurred at tho Shclback, and all traffic has been stopped near the Berkeley Castle.
The Una Company have lodged 213 ounces, the result of a fortnight's crushing.
The Eureka have lodged 03 ounces
A few specimens have been taken out of the old beach leader in the Crown Prince.
The Herald have found a few specimens iv their stone.
The Kuranui have hanked this morning 145 ounces for tho fortnight.
The Junction have just completed a crushing, and tho result ia 122 ounces retorted gold.
