There was a fair amount of business in the share market tins morning- In the afternoon tberc was a great demand for Caledonians. My miles comprise : Cnledonian, £175 to £177 10s, now held for £180 ; 1 hames, £35 ; Otago, £4 4s to £4 ss; Toliatoa No. 2, 2s. Tlie market closed with an upward tendency in Caledonian and Thames stocks. MB. J. T. GAKLICK's EErOBT. ■ The market was firm to-day. Caledonian sold for £175 to £177 10s, but are now held for £180; Thames, £35 ; Otago, £4 5s : Moauatairi, £3 7s 6d; Albion, £12 10s. j. newman's brport. The share market has been active to: day, and the tendency upwards for all leading stocks. I have sold Thames, £35 ; Caledonian, £175 ; Moanatairi, £3 108 ; Otago are held for £4 5s ; Tookcy, buyers, £32.
