The Caledonian, brought up this morning half a ton of specimens, and will have another lot this evening. They have lodged 680 ounces from general stuff.
The Long Drire are now retorting, after ten days' crushing.
Tookey's ("Wood's) tribute are retorting, having put through 52 tons.
The tailings of tho two bags full stolen from the Caledonian, have been crushed, and yielded £12.
The Alburnia have broken out some splendid stone since yesterday.
Eive head of stampers have been employed at the Manukau on the stuff from the Crown Prince.
