Mails will close as \inder :— For Thames, this day, at 4.30 and 5.30 p.m , and to-morrow at 10.30 a.m., and 4 30 and 6.30 p.m. For Newcastle. N.S.AV., per Briton, to-morrow, at 2 p.m. Mans for the undermentioned places, per s.s. James Paterson, will close at this onicu on Thursday, 27th inst., as under :— For India, China, Mauritius, Mediterranean ports, and Continent of Europe, at 9 a. m. For Australian Colonies, at 10 a.m. For United Kingdom, via Suez and Southampton, (for letters specially so addressed), at 11 a.m. For United Kingdom via Brindis, at 10.30 a.m. For Newspapers, at 8 a.m. For money orders, registered letters, on Wednesday, 2(ith inst,, .it 6 p.m. Late letters for Sydney, Melbourne, and United Kingdom via Southampton, bearing 3d. and G<l. in addition to the postage, will bo received at this office till 10.30 a. m. For Kussell and Kuwakawa, pur Duko of Edinburgh, "on Thursday, 27th inst., at 3 p.m. Note. —Post-offices at AVarkworth and Opotiki, are now Money Order and Saving Uiink offices. A. Post-office has been opened «t Dedwood. Mails leave chief office at 9 a.m., and arrive at 3 p.m., daily. S. B. Bis*. Chief Postmaster.
