Alfred Buckland'b Rep ofli.^-At the Hay market on Saturday fodder baply maintained previous prices. The thorough-bred stock advertised met with a very indifferent' sale and the brood-mares were withdrawn. The two-year-old off colt Golden Crown brought £25; yearlings, from £16 to £20; a good draught gelding, £35; strong light-harness horses, £17 to £25; hooded buggies, £34 and £36 respectively. At Remuera on Thursday the yards were well filled with cattle of all j descriptions. Medium dairy cows were at lower values; good store cattle were in request at rather higher values; fat cattle were in usual numbers, and lower in price. Dairy cowb at calving, in low condition, were abundant, and brought from £4 5s to £7 10s each; a few good cows in condition, from £9 to £12 ; ;en months old calves, 37s 6d to 425; fifteen ;o eighteen months old, £2 15s to £2 17s 6d ; iwo-year-olds, from £3 10s j three years and >lder, from £5 to £6 10s; working oxen, from 810 15s each ; fat cattle, 20s to 25s the 1001b. So store sheep were penned, and fat sheep rerein short supply; they were at higher alues, fully 2b per head. Pigs were alao short f requirements, and an advance in price was btainod on all good animals brought forward.
