Peehaps the most successful in "eve; y sense of the entertainments given by tlu Circus Company in Auckland, was given on Saturday evening. JNotwithstandine the inclemency of the weather, the pavi lion was crowded in every part, not a seat or standing room being vacant' "'The' great event was, of course, the " Steeplechase, »which was excellently carried out and rapturously applauded., The.equesl, tnan feats of Madame Eossrere e'speciallv and of the remainder of the troupe generally, were really excellent. The humour of the clown was singularly amusing, and, altogether, there was,unbounded, satisfaction afforded to the spectators.
