Sißr-Being a residents in the Dedwood district, I have.; tof coniplairr-of !■ the reckless way in which hbraes and cattle are driven...on the footpath, lately covered with a thin coating of scoria ash, which is" now .completely trodden iri, leaving a beautiful bed of soft clay to entrap the belated .traveller./ The' cnttle in that district are a perfewrpestf being driven at all hours of the day across arid along the path, rendering useless the work that the Highway Board have done there".
