SUNDAY SERVICES.

Last evening a tea meeting took place at, the Mechanics' Institute, in connection wil.ii the Sunday afternoon services at the JJ'haiii/r'O Royal. Anumberof persons connected with ilie movement were the promoters of the mealing, the object of which was to give to those present an excellent tea, and to address them afterwards on religious subjects. About 200 persona sat down to the evening meal, after which the chair wad taken by tho Ecv. Dr. Maunsell, who addressed the meeting at considerable length on the advantages derived from the Sunday afternoon services, and from such meetings as that at which they were now present. The meeting was afterwards addressed by the Revs. Messrs. Bree, •Macniccol, Berry, Lewis, and Walters, and other gentlemen. Durin the evening a number of hymns were sung, end the proceedings terminated with singing the Doxology,
