This morning Mr." S.'Cdchrane sold by auction shares in many of the principal mines on the goldfiold. There was an unusually large attendance, and tbe following prices were obtained : West Coast, 15s ; Care, lis to 16s 6d j Shotover, 7s; Providence, 2s ; Excelsior (Coromandel), 9s ; Ballarat and Rising Sun, 12s 6d ; Prince Imperial, 70s; Just-in-Time, 2s; Goldfield Investment Company, 57s 6d; Vale of Avoca, 6s to 10s ;?Nolan's.Candlelight, 9s 3d ; Eureka Hill, 35s ; Golden Lion, 5s ; TbAWes,'i2l ; ?Tos:,: »j ./.
