A brig, supposed to be the Moa from Sydney, is signalled as we go to press. The p.s. Nevada may be expected from Southern ports on to-morrow evening or Wednesday. The s.s. Napier has been detained till tomorrow. She will call at Poverty Bay and other placet on the coast. the Duke of Edinburgh arrived from the Bay of Islands yesterday morning, bringing 85 bags gum and four passengers. She encountered vury heavy weather. The Duke will leave for Wangarei this evening.
The Merlin left for Levuka yesterday, with the fallowing passengers: —-Mr. Barling, Mrs. Martin and child, /T.r. and Mrs. Border, Mrs. Miller, Mrs. Niccol, and Willis.
