CALEDONIAN MUTUAL MINING INVESTMENT COMPANY.
Ppbsuaut to advertisement, a meeting of the members of this new company was held last evening, at the Army and. Navy Hotel, when the company -was formed ; Mr. Corlett was voted to the chair. The whole of the rulewere read, discussed seriatim, and adopted. Tho subscription list was read over, and new shares taken up. It was decided that the capital of tho company be £4000, in four hundred shares of £10 each, payablo by weekly -instalments of ss. j the first weekly payment to be made on Monday, July 10th, at the company's office, _>7, Queen-street, and weekly thereafter. The objects the company have in view were heartily approved of, and the following gentlemen elected as tlue first directors_—Messrs. Arnold, Corlett, Johnston, Margett, Davey, Smith, and. White ; and Mr. LußCOmbe was appointed legal manager. The company, will be registered in a fe_v. days, and" enter immediately on their work.
