FATAL ACCIDENT.—ONE MAN DROWNED. IMPERIAL CROWN CBUSHING JUNCTION—TWENTY POUNDS SPECIMENS. KELLY'S AND LONG: DRIVE f-RUSHINGS. 3.15 p.m. A fatal accident occurred this morning. The dingy of the schooner Clio, which had arrived from Russell, was going ashore, and capsized. Two of tho men were rescued, and a third drowned. A verdict has been held on the body, and a verdict of " Accidentally drowned " returned. Tho Imperial Crown have obtained 11 ounces from a crushing of 10 tons. The Junction have taken on-. 20 lbs.good specimens this morning. The crushing is looking well". Tho Long Drive monthly retorting !is looking only moderate. Kelly's retorting is.not yet finished.
