Mails will close as under :— For Thames, this day, at 5.30 p.m., and tomorrow, at*ll.3o a.m. and 5.30 p.m. For Ruato (Wangaroa), per Eliza Eirtb, to morrow, at 8.30 a.m. For Taranaki, Wanganui, and Southern provinces, per Gro-Ahead, to-morrow, at 11 a.m. Late letters and telegrams for transmission from the Wanganui station will be received at this office till 11.30 a m., aud at Onehunga till 10.30 p.m. For Kapanga, etc., per Lalla Rookh, on Thursday, 29th inst., at 10 a.m. For Kapanga, etc., per Duke of Edinburgh, on Thursday, 29th inst., at 11 a.m.

Post-offices have been opened at Te Hana, Albertland, and at Ohaupo, Waikato. , S. B. Biss, Chief Postmaster.
