Phillips reports—Caledonian, £212; Thames, £42, cum dividend, held for higher rates ; £ed Queen, 10s 6d to 10s 9d ; Corouefc, 10s 6d; Una, 21s to 22s ; Otago, £4 7s 6d to £4 10s, held for higher rates. Mr. J. M. Lennox reports :—The sharemarket continues firm. I have sold Thames at £41 15s, and £42; Caledonian, £212 ; Otago, £4 ss. ; Long Drive, £15 ; Middle Star, old issue, £5, new issue, 255.; Shotover, Bs. to Bs. 6d;; Belfast, £7. Enquiries for Una, Bank of New Zealand, and G-as Company's shares. Mr. J. Newman reports :—The share market has been very inactive to-day, and.sale^ irregular. I have sold Caledonians, £210 to £212 10s ; Kuranui, £2 15s ; Central Italy, 37s 6d ; Shotover, Bs. Buyers for Shotover, Eed Queen, and Tokatea at low rates. Mr. Martin Sholl reports: Caledonians have been exchanged at £2]o to £212 10s Cures, 21s. to 21s. 6d.; Unas, 225.; Hed Queens, 10s. 6d.; Tookevs, £39; Thames, £42; Centrals, 40s ; Otagos, £4 7s Gd. F. H. Lowisson report sales of—Long Drive Brooches at £6 each, set in Thames gold; Caledonian Earrings, 100s j Alburnian Slices, froja 10s to 25s ; Caledonian Slices, 50s to 60s. Wanted—Otago, Poverty and Charleston, Kelly, Lowland Lass, Ked Queen, and Cure Specimens, and so also the shareholders. Highest pvice paid for some of Tookej's Specimens.
