Kells, 11. do C. ijarlalli. The first case Vas that of ref.cr Brady, of Howick Anas Hotel, Ilovvick. The Bench granted 'the renewal. — The next case was an 'application for (ho liailway Terminus ■Hotel, Onehunga, by John Liindon.—Mr. .Sheehan appeared in support of the licence, and stated that the building, though not quite completed, was nearly so. The plans were produced, and the Bench granted the certificato for the licence, provided the building is Gnished ■to_ fulfil thorequii-ementsof the Act.—The next, case was for a licence for an old house at Panmure, to be removed' to a new building owned by the same party. Mr. Sheehan'appeared to support the application. The difficulty aroso from the fact that.the applicant had not strictly complied with the require-1" ments of the. new Act. As the casa was mo9t peculiar, ho therefore applied fora renewal of his licence, pending the notification tkat he wanted to. l'empve the licence to a new and better house.' Mr. Brookfiold appeared1' to oppose tlie application, not to gr/mting the old licence, but to granting what this application wins-, namely/for it licence for a new house altogether, and he contended that the Bench had no power to grant a transfer from one house to another ualess in case of destruction by fire.—;The,Jßench refused the application, but' directed the certificate to issue, for the old premises.
