Mails will close as under :— For Thames, this day, at 4 p.m. and 5.30 p.m., I and to-morrow, at 10.30 a.m., 4 p.m. and 5.30 p.m. "For Kapanga, &c, per Lalla Eookh, to-to-morrow, at 10.30 a.m. For Bussell, &c, per p.s. Duke of Edinburgh, to-morrow, at 11 a.m. For. Gisborrie and Napier, per Napier, tomorrow, at' 1 p.m. Late letteis and telegrams for transmission from from the Napier station will be received at this office till 1.30 p.m. For Taranaki and Southern provinces, per Taranaki, immediately after the arrival of the p.s. Nevada from Honolulu. For Napier and the Southern Provinces, and Chatham. Islands via Lyttelton, per p.s. ■'7 Nevada, six hours after her arrival from Honolulu. For" Fiji, per Flirt, on Saturday, 24th inst., at 10 a.m. .
Post-offices have heen opened at Te Hana, Albiertland, and afc Ohaupo, Waikato. S. B. Biss, Chief Postmaster.
