Eyeitinq Stab Office, Friday afternoon. Messrs. Samuel Cochrane and Son held a sale at their mart to-day. The following prices were realised:—Q-illon's table salt, 3s 9d per dozen; ginger liqueur, 10s; soft soap, 4\A per lb.; cotton wool drying sheets, 3s 3d to ss; strong baskets, 4s 9d each ; set harness, £2 17s 6d; alum, l^d par lb.; the cutter Bee (4 tons), £6.
Messrs. L. D. Nathan and Co. sold at their stores to-day a portion of the cargo of the Edith, from Tahiti, consisting of oranges, which realised 10|d per doz.
