Gbahamstown, 2.30 p.m. Me. Mitchell, member- of the Provincial Council, and late Goldfields' Treasurer, was brought up at the Police Court this morning, and bound over in a bond of £50 to keep the peace, for using disgusting language to Hoterene Taipari. The Nonpareil specimen stealing case is going on. The Poverty and Charleston have taken out very rich stone this morning. The G-olden Lion have taken out, this morning, a hundred weight of specimens. The Alburnia brought up this morning some magnificent stone. The mine is still looking well, and this morning the specimens on hand were to be put through.
The Customs returns for the month amount to £1225.
The Bass Ilosk have taken out a further lofe of rich stone.
