KONPAEEIL SPECIMENS,
THE ALBURNIA CRUSHING. NEW FIND IN THE DAUNTLESS AND SINK TO RISE. THE HIDDEN TREASURE CASE. 3 p.m. The Caledonian are taking out fair specimens, and will have a fine haul this evening. The Cure got gold this morning in No. 2 reef (Grolden Crown), The show is not very great, but the reef is promising. Shares soon reached 355., but declined again to 30s. Tho Junction has lodged 180 ozs. melted gold, and will continue crushing with ten head of stampers on the new reef, which is improving. The Nonpareil commenced crushing specimens to-day. The yield for the month is expected to reach from 800. to 900 ounces. ; ... The Alburnia general crushing is Looking splendid ; the yield is expected to be from 4 to 5 ounces per ton. They intend to commence crushing specimens to-morrow, of which a large quantity is on hand. The North Devon have again come upon the reef. The Dauntless and Sink-to-Rise have struck a new leader this morning, bearing a good show of gold. They will commence stoping from the •main leader to-morrow, for another crushing. j' V^ , ; nj The Hidden Treasure case is still proceeding. The Thames share market is tolerably brisk.
