The Blenheim Evening Star publishes the following tipsy description of the chief city of the province of Marlborough :—I came in the Falcon—l wish I hadn't for I don't know how to get out, having spent all my money.— Blenheim is the capital of Marlborough : has a Superintendent, Inspector of Police, and two constables, who have nothing to do—the same amount is done by the other Government officials. It'fl a very healthy place—The ° tv- iaease Prevalent ia quartz on the brain —Many are suffering from this complaint, and many mO re are expected to suffer under its " crußhing influence. "—Money very tight here 80 haye I been since I arrived here. The principal amusements are " Yankee Grab," and bottled portei—There are three papers in hetown : the Herald (or fighting editor), the JS/ews and Express— They are all full of news, which might have been read somewhere some weeks before—Climate of Blenheim, good. Disposition of inhabitants; going in on the burst, and there remain.—None have yet burated.—Some are expected to.
