Shipped for Otnro-1 parcel, H. M. Jerria.—Combes and Palely, agents. The brigantiue Sea Q-ull sailed this morning for Levuka. The cutter Fautilus, from Mercury Bay, bringß 4 tona gtrm-, aud 18 000 feet timber. There was no appearance of the s.s. Hero from Sydney and Melbourne up to the time of our going to press. The ship Wild Duck will haul alongside the wharf to-morrow, to discharge her cargo- of grain. The schooner Merlin sails for Levuka tomorrow. The cutter Hero, for Tauranga, leaves tonight, with passengers and a, full cargo. The schooner Julia, from Kawau, brings a cargo of 50 tons firewood. The fine s.s. Wellington, Captain A. Kennedy, takes her departure for Southern ports this afternoon. The following is a list of her passengers : Mr. and Mrs. Carleton, Mr. O'Neill, Mr. S. Heath, Mis3es Heath (2), and Mr. J. Marianne. The regular trader Kate arrived in harbour last evening, in command of Capt. McKinnon. part owner of the vessel. The Kate has made a fair pnssnge of thirteen days, and brings a full cargo of general merchandise. Captain McKinuon reports leaving Sydney on the Bth instant, aud experienced fine weather till making the Three Kings. Here she encoun •tered a Bevere gale from the S.E., and the ship was hove-to under bare poles. During the gale, both topsails were blown away, and a heavy Bea swept the decki of a quantity of cargo, and carried-away the quarter life-b. at.Since then had moderate weather to the Barrier,. where another gale was met with ; strong S.W. winds since till arrival in port.
