SALE OF CALEDONIAN
TAILINGS.
G-OLDEN LION SPECIMENS.
[FBOir OUR OWN COBEESPONDENT.I 2.55 p.m. The Caledonian tailings were sold this morning by Mr. D. J. O'Keeffe. 800 tons brought £1650. The G-oldeu Lion, on the Waiotahi, have taken out some specimens this morning. The Alburnia i 3 looking splendid. Extraordinary rich, specimens are being taken out. 3 p.m. The Candlelight have crushed 50 tons, with a yield of 62 ounces. The Baas Hock are taking out good specimen stone. The case of breach of Arms Act is undergoing investigation.
