Maiis will close as under :—■ For Tauranga and Opotiki, per Tauranga, this day, at 4.30 p.m., and to-morrow, per Hero at 1 p.m. For Thames, this day, at 4.30 p.m.= and 5.30 p.m., and to-morrow, at 10.30 a.m., 4 p.m. and 5.30 p.m. , For Whitiangi, per Mary Ellen, this day, at 5 p.m. For Taranaki and the Southern Provinces, per s.s. Ahuriri, to-morrow, 22nd inst., at 10 a.m. Late letters and telegrams for transmission from the -!N.elson Station will be received at this office till 10.30, and at Onehunga till 11.30 a.m. For Newcastle, N.S.W., per Waverley, tomorrow, at 9 a.m. For Fiji, per Merlin, to-morrow, at 11 a.m. For Kapanga, &c, per Lallaßookh, on Thursday, 25th inst., at 11 a.m. For Napier and the Southern Provinces, per s.s. Wellington j on Thursday, 25th inst., at 1 p.m. Late letters and telegrams for transmission from the Napier Station will be received at this office till 1.30 p.m. S. B. Biss, Chief Postmaster.
