Tuesday afternoon.

Mr. George Sibbin sold on the wharf today, 10 large iron tanks, from 35s to '55s each. Messrs. Arthur and Son held a sale of produce, &c., at their mart to-day. There was a fair attendance, and the following prices were realised:—Potatoes, 3s to 3s 6d per cwt.; onions, lid to l£d per lb.; cheese, 3£d to 5d per lb.; beef, 2d per lb.; apples, 3d per lb.; pears, 2s 3d to 3s Id (case).
