SHARE MARKET.
Grahamstown, 3 p.m. The Nonpareil mine is looking better than ever, and the next crushing will give,a handsome return. Gfood specimens are being brought up daily, and shares are much enquired after. • The Prince Imperial crushing was completed on Saturday, and the retorting took place this morning, the result being 22£ ounces from ten tons of stone, an average of over two ounces to the ton. I believe there is no truth in the report that the stuff crushed last week had been salted. It promises to be a very valuable mine. The Caledonian hare taken out another lot of specimens of average quality. The Poverty and Charleston crushing is showing up well for a good return. A parcel of very nice specimens were brought up late on Saturday. There has not been much done in the share market to-day. Thames have been sold at £23 10s., held for £24 10s. ; Nonpareil, £4 ss. to £4 7s. Gd. ; Central Italy, 17s. Gd. ; Tookey, £13.
