For Newspapers, at V a.m. For United Kingdom via Marseilles, and Brindiai, at 9.30 a.m. Late letters for Sydney, Melbourne, and United Kingdom, via Southampton, bearing 3d. and 6d. in addition to the postage, will be received till 9.30 a.m. For Kapanga, etc., per Lalla Kookh, on MonMay 1, at 11 a.m. For Mahurangi, Craigeburn, Warkworth, etc., per Lady Bo wen, to-morrow, at 10 a.m. For Hobart Town, per Bella Mary, to-morrow, at 9 a.m. For Kapanga, etc., per Lalla Rookh, on Monday, Ist May, at 11 a.m. For Wangarei Heads, etc., per Duke of Edinburgh, on Monday, Ist May, at 3 p.m. For Fiji, per Leonidas; on Wednesday, at 10 a.m. Note.—Post-officea have been opened at North Omauharo and Tryphena, Great Barrier. Note.—Correspondence, for Belgium may in future be addressed to be sent by the Suez route via Brindisi direct. The rates of postage collected in New Zealand on such correspondence will pay for its conveyance as far only as Alexandria. These rates are as follow : —Letters not exceeding half an ounce, 6d.; every additional half an ounce, 6d. Newspapers Id. each. Books and pattern parcels not exceeding four ounces, 4d. ; four ounces to eight ounces, Bd. ; every additional eight ounces, Bd. The weight of pattern parcels must not exceed eight ounces. S. B.
