Phillips, dr 'me Williams, and Donald McLean, were puni.'ied in the H3ual manner for drunkenness. VAGIi.VNCT. — Ellen McLean, an offender •with a certificate of twenty-five previous convictions to recommend her, was charged with being a ivr;ue and a vagabond, and her case wns remanded for a week. .Tomima Morgan, on remand, was further remanded for a day. Municipal Pomce Act.—Henry Jones, a little boy, charged with having -wilfully broken a pane of glass in the window ef Mr. Kiiugliton, and it appearing that the lad had sWit'd a stone against the curb without, mischievous intention, he was discharged with a caution. Neglected Children. —John Conway and George Moore were brought up under the Neglected and Criminal Children's Act.— Sergeant Pardy informed the Bench that the mother of Conway is at Napier, and the case was remanded for enquiry. The boy Moore was sent to the Destitute Children's Asylum for twolvo months.
