Late letters for Sydney and Melbourne will
be received till 9.30 a.m. Note. —Post-offices have been opened at North
Omauharo and Tryphena, Great Barrier
Note.—Correspondence for Belgium may in future be addressed to be sent by the Suez route via Brindisi direct. The rates of postage collected in New Zealand on such correspondence will pay for its conveyance as far only nst Alexandria. These rales are as follow : —Lottery not exceeding half an ounce, Gd. ; every additional half an ounce, fid. Newspapers Id. each. Books and pattern parcels not exceeding four ounces, 4d. ; four ounces to eight ounces, Bd.; erery ndditional eight ounces, Sd. The weight of pattern pai-eels must not exceed eight ounces.
