ADELAIDE.
April 11.—Several families have been ill from eating mutton, supposed to have been poisoned through the sheep eating poisonous herbs. Considerable uneasiness exists. The German Club is organising a peace demonstration. —The application to -Judge Wearing resulted jn Tidemann's being admitted to bail, finding three sureties at £350 each. The Judge remarked that the depositions showed little chance of a conviction.—Satisfactory ad« vices were received by mail of sales of flax.
April 13.—Mr. Todd anticipates that by September lie will have tebgraphic communication eight hundred miles north of Port
Augusta,
April 14.—Letters were found ia a deserted hut some seventy miles from Wellington, signed by James Coughlan, late 50th Regiment, which led to the supposition that he has perished in the besb.
