NATIVE LANDS COURT.
In a General Government gazette of the sth instant we find Rule -No. 13 of the Native Lands Court revoked, and tho following rule made iv lieu thereof by his Honor the Chief Judge Fenton : —" Parties may appear by counsel or European agent only when the assent of the Court, or any Judge thereof, is previously applied for and obtained for such appearance. The Court may at any stage of any proceeding order the discontinuance of the employment of counsel or European agent." This must lead to yery important alterations in the conduct of future cases.
