There has been considerable enquiry here for Waitemata shares, and large parcels have changed hands at advanced rates. They are not worth the present quotations. The Golden Crown crushing is an improvement this week ; 100 tons have been put through the machine, and have yielded 418 ounces.
The Lord Ashley have crushed 65 tons, which have given a return of 45 ounces.
The Una have completed their crushing, and have lodged IGO ounces from 200 tons.
