There is still a demand for Tookey. They have sold freely at £11. The Southern Pacific have just finished a splendid crushing, 12 tons yielded 47 ounces. Two new leaders have been cut at the 120 feet level in the Morning Star. Gold is visible ill one. The Dauntless and Sink to Rise crushing is completed, 89 tons gave 11G ounces. The aunual licensing meeting was held this morning. There were 98 applications for renewals, and two for new houses, seven of which were wholesale There was no opposition by the

The Nonpariel Company resumed crushing at the Criterion buttery yesterday. A considerable delay lias been caused by the state of the roads, which required very extensive repairs before the stuff could be carted to the machine. The crushing at tho Tramway battery is still going on satisfactorily, but will not be completed before Friday next.

The retorting for the Yankee Doodle claim did not turn out so well as was expected from the quantity of amalgam in hand. The gold was melted in the Bank of New Zealand, and turned out a bar weighing 80 ozs. 3 dwts. 6 grs. melted gold. There wero 110 tons of stone crushed.

The City of London. —The crushing for the City of London claim, at Bull's machine, yielded 29 ozs. 2 dwts. G grs. of melted gold. There were about 30 tous of stone crushed.

The Moa Triikhe.—The crushing for the tributcrs o! the Moa claim turned out poorly. The result obtained was 12 ozs. 17 dwts. melted gold. The stuff was crushed at the Una Company's mill.

The Four Georges.—The shareholders of this claim crushed a small parcel at their own battery (the Halcyon) during the week, and obtained a yield of 8 ozs. of gold.
