Any man entering under a false name will not be allowed to run. . 2. Any runner wilfully jostling another during a race will be thereby debarred from winning. 3. All disputes to be referred to the Committee, and their decision to be final. . 4. Any complaint of foul mnning must be made immediately after the race, and in the presence of the parties to whom it refers. 5. Competitors to start at the report of a pistol G. Competitors must contest in trousers or long drawers. . 7. Competitors must declare their colors at the time of entry, and must run in those colors. 8. The Committee rsserve . power of disqualifying a competitor at any time, if his conduct prove objectionable, or it is shown that his entry was made under false pretences. . 9. Winners of the Boys' Race will be required to prove their ages before receiving their prizes. 10. That a sub-committee, consisting of five members of the committee, shall be competent to decide all questions aud disputes arising during the course of the Sports, and Mr. Yon der Heyde shall alone have the po;ver of convening a meeting of such live members. THEATRE ROYAL GOLD CUP. Conditions : 1. The distances to be 150 yards, 300 yards, and 440 yards Handicap Flat Races, in which HARRIS and HEWITT will compete. 2. The number of points shall be—For the first man, five points; second, three points ; third, two points ; at the various distances. 4. The winner of the greatest number of points for the three Cup races will be the winner of the Cup. 4. In the event of a tie the competitors shall run off on the same day at the 300 yards distance. 5. The Committee to settle all disputes that may arise. The Splendid Band of the Auckland Battalion Rifle Volunteers will be in attendance. Accommodation will be supplied to competitors to dress in. The public are requested to keep outside the roped ground. A bell will be rung five minutes before the commencement of each event. Competitors must be punctual, as the committee have a long programme to go through. The Committee reserve themselves power to postpone the meeting should the weather prove unfavourable. Entries will be received by Mr. Charles Hillsdcn, at the Occidental Hotel, up to Tuesday, April 4, 1871, until 9 p.m., at which time the entries will close. The entries and handicaps will appear in the newspapers of Thursday, Oth inst. The gates will open at 12 o'clock noon. Sports to commence at 1 punctually.
